Global Issue Project

For my junior year Global Issue project, I chose to explore how different legal systems around the world affect the way laws are created and applied to the citizens of those countries. During my research, I focused on four main types of legal systems: common law, civil law, religious law, and customary law. And, I decided to create an infographic that compares these different systems and explains how they function in various countries. Throughout my research, I learned that these legal systems are shaped by the country's history, culture, and beliefs. Creating this project allowed me to understand how different legal systems can impact not just people's access to justice but also their day-to-day lives.
